Family Update

Since I haven't really done anything in awhile I'll start with those guys.

-Malia is more beautiful than the last time I wrote about her. She has this superpower that allows her to grow in beauty and grace daily. She continues to love me in such a special way. I cannot imagine my life without her. She helps me be a better person everyday. I know I will love her more each day of my life.

-Zeb is growing bigger and longer. I see in him the challenges with life as you grow, the selfish spirit which starts to seek in and the part of you who wants to glide through life easily. We continue to try and guide his heart to God and His glory. I know that if you can truly grasp that, you will work hard for that reason alone. I think of my favorite movies or heroes like Rudy or Rocky, they were working so hard for perishable crowns. I pray the Lord will convict Zeb to push himself to use every talent he has to bring God glory.

-Gabriel is growing fast, his mind is so fertile to new ideas and actions. I am amazed at how quickly he learns and even his focus and desire to learn. He is strong-willed for sure. But I continue to push his obedience. Each time he disobeys, we attempt to go through the steps of punishment, sorrow, forgiveness, repentance and prayer. Not easy, but important I believe. He is still such a sparkplug to be around.

-Isabella is growing so fast. She inherited her mother's gift of growing more beautiful each day. She does such funny things, pointing (which I don't remember Gabriel doing), trying to "get" you, and this new excited form of expressive da-da. She is so fun to see, she will crawl across the room to see me when I come home. Gabriel never did that. She is joyful and intelligent. She is also very girly and sensitive. I am blessed to watch her grow.

-UPDATE- there is new little person coming. It will be Josiah or Grace. HOW EXCITING! Due date June 7th, 2010!
